I have recently introduced 2013 servers into my 2010 environment. All 2010 services are published through an ISA 2006 server locally and externally. I moved a test mailbox from the 2010 databases to 2013 databases, and am now unable to access the box through the 2010 OWA logon page. It is giving me an error message of "A server configuration change is temporarily preventing access to your account. Please close all Web browser windows and try again in a few minutes. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk."
- All users are able to log onto the 2013 OWA Page successfully, not matter if their database is on 2010 or 2013.
- The test user's Outlook also stopped working after the mailbox move. If I change the DNS entry for the mail server in the hosts file to point to the 2013 servers, it will work fine.
I suspect the problem lies within the ISA 2006 form functionality. Maybe ISA does not know how to properly handle the redirection from 2010 to 2013. To fix the problem I think I can cut over the DNS and other pointers to 2013, but I would like to put that off until I can successfully test some mailboxes in the new environment. Thank you!
