We've got a single all role server Exchange 2010 and are planning to migrate to Exchange 2013. I,ve red the article Ambiguous URLs and their effect on Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 Migrations on the EHLO blog. We are using different internal and external URL's but we've never created a CAS array object.
In Exchange 2013, do I need cas array configuration? it's stated that Exchange 2013 does not use a CAS array object. Does this mean I can move our mailboxes to a new Exchange 2013 server (same forest, same AD) without a problem and the Outlook profiles are updated automatically?
