External mail not working

Hi

Everything works except external incomming email. I havent changed the default receive connectors and i can telnet to port 25 when im in the same subnet as the exchange server.

When running microsoft connectivity analyzer it says that Authentication failed to the SMTP server. and

 Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: #5.1.0 Address rejected.

Help please!
