Hi,
After removing Exchange 2007 from our coexistence environment today I began noticing this error message in the event viewer:
Process w3wp.exe (PID=4652). Object [CN=Mailbox Database 1207871157,CN=Databases,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=DOMAIN,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=com]. Property [PublicFolderDatabase]
is set to value [domain.com/Configuration/Deleted Objects/Public Folder Database
DEL:ac42d6fb-680e-4c5a-b5ca-3b9a96bb55c9], it is pointing to the Deleted Objects container in Active Directory. This property should be fixed as soon as possible.
I then followed the instructions in this document: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996485%28v=exchg.80%29.aspx
to change the sitefolderserver to point to the distinguished name of the new mailbox database
This seems to have not had any negative impacts on my environment but I notice that the attribute:
msExchHomePublicMDB is still set to:
CN=Public Folder Database\0ADEL:ac42d6fb-680e-4c5a-b5ca-3b9a96bb55c9,CN=Deleted Objects,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=com
Do I also need to change this attribute?
