Federation Trust varified but information request fails?

Hi All,

I'm trying to get two on premises Exchange 2013 servers in two separate forests to share calendar info across a Federation trust.

I've followed the technet articles to configure the Federation Trust, the Organizational Relationship, Sharing Policies and DNS records, however when trying to share a calendar via Outlook 2013 I get the permission \ security error from both ends.

I tested the Federation Trust on each local server using the Test-FederationTrust cmdlt and I get full 'success' results on all tested components so each server can successfully see and talk to the MS Federation gateway.

However,

When using the Get-FederationInformation cmdlt on both of the servers to query the opposing Federated SMTP domain I get an error...Federation information could not be received from the external organization.

How can I troubleshoot this?

I assume the Get-FederationInformation cmdlt uses the info configured in the Organzation Relationship settings. Below is an example of one of my servers relationships which theGet-FederationInformation cmdlt fails to see \ query from other Federated server.
