Dear all,
I'm facing a Domain Rename and was wondering whether this would have an immediate negative impact on the included Exchange 2013 server.
The domain consists of 2 Windows Server 2012 (not R2) DCs and an Exchange 2013 member server (and several other member servers). I did some research on rendom.exe and found that the process of Domain Renaming is quite straight forward and not really pain inducing. Thing is: nobody mentions the impact a domain rename could have on an Exchange 2013 server.
Does anybody know on how to tackle an Exchange 2013 server when facing a domain rename? Is it even supported? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Alex
