I am migrating from Exchange 2010 to 2013 in an environment where Outlook Anywhere was previously never configured. I flipped my host record on my computer to point to the new 2013 environment and found I could not connect to my mailbox (which is still on 2010).
I remembered that I did not enable Outlook Anywhere in the 2010 environment and went ahead and did so. I am now getting settings from the autodiscover, but it is not checking the box that says on fast connections and the box on slow connections and therefore is not using Outlook Anywhere to connect to the mailbox.
Is there a setting that will force RPC over HTTPS to be the default connection instead of the RPC connection it is making? Is this a setting in the autodiscover / Exchange setup or must this be done via GPO?
