Namespace planning multiple AD sites

Hi,

I have been googling for an answer to our Exchange 2013 setup but until not I haven't been able to find a satisfactory solution. We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013. We have 20 AD sites with 23 Exchange 2010 servers and 4 Exchange 2013.

HQ:
2x CAS, HUB (2010)
2x MBX in a DAG (2010)

2x CAS (2013)
2x HUB, MBX in a DAG (2013)
internal and external namespace: webmail.ourextdomain.com
wildcard certificate: *.ourextdomain.com
split-brain DNS

SITE 1 through 19:
1x CAS, HUB, MBX (2010)

Only the server at HQ are internet facing, all the external mail flows through HQ.

What currently isn't real clear to me; what namespace do I use for the other 19 sites? Do I use the same FQDN as for HQ, create the required DNS records and rely on the DNS feature "netmask ordering"? Or do I have to use a separate FQDN for every site for the internal and external namespace?

The only threads, technet articles and exchange pro articles I can find are regarding site resiliency. None of the articles/blogs/etc I found go any deeper into a multi AD site Exchange 2013 deployment.

Any clues and/or pointers in the right direction and/or the "solution" are very welcome!
