I tried installing service pack 3 on Exchange 2010 SP1 today. The setup went through all of the Readiness Checks with no problems. However, the setup process failed at Hub Transport Role. See below: It seems it can't find a certificate. I believe this has
something to do with the recent certificate upgrade I needed to do. My original certificates were about to expire and I renewed them by running 'fix my network'. When I checked the app log, I found warning messages saying the certificate is about to expire.
The thumb print matches the one in the error message. The error message I see now is
The Module DLL C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\Owa\auth\exppw.dll failed to load. Event ID is 2280. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
