Hi All,
need some advice from all of you, I've Exchange 2013 with two NICs, one is for private and the other is for public, the current NIC configuration is:
NIC1 (private): ip private/gateway private/dns1: my primary DC/dns2: none
NIC2 (public): ip public/gateway ISP provider/no dns
So, I've multiple gateway on above configuration, is this ok? so far some message delivery with no problem but for some, we encoutered with error 441 4.4.1 and stuck in queue with delivery type is dnsconnectorydelivery.
I read some article in the Technet that mentioned it's better to have one DG instead of two, but it didn't explained which GW that should I take, so I tried it, if I remove the public IP gateway in my NIC2, the exchange client can't connect to the server, so I tried the other way around, I removed the private IP gateway in my NIC1, the problem now is the queue message viewer won't connect, it showed windows rm error.......... (i forgot to write it down).
and now i revert everything to my first original configuration, I can ping both of my Gateway either private or public with no timeout.
fyi, I've Symantec Mail Security installed in the same machine with my Exchange 2013, I tried to disable the Antivirus, but the message is still stuck in queue, so I assumed the problem is not come from the Symantec.
Thx
Irwan
