Install Error " A Restart from a Previous Installation is Pending"- How- This is a brand new Hyper-V??

Fix= delete/ amend values under;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\UpdateExeVolatile

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations

PendingFileRenameOperations doesn't exist and NO entry under UpdateExeVolatile!!

This error therefore makes no sense . Also checked under currentcontrolset001 .

Does anyone know about this I know others have had this problem too.
