To save time installing our new Exchange 2013 servers we are going to install them during business hours. We currently have Exchange 2010 installed and will be migrating users later. For now we just want to get the infrastructure and the mail routing ready.
I have a few questions regarding the implementation:
1. What parts, if any, could cause disruption to users? Changing the Service Endpoints or URLs? Any potential gotchas?
2. Can we install Exchange 2013 mailbox and CAS roles, and then leave the environment alone with no further configuration without further steps, and continue to use Exchange 2010 in the meantime without disruption?
