I know you can not migrate directly from 2003 to 2013 ms exchange but I'm looking for thoughts and opinion here.
The customer is 50 user mailbox on an Exchange 2003 server and single AD. Now they want latest and greatest Exchange 2013 feature with no downtime.
what options do I have?
#1 Do the cross forest migration, migrate AD move the Desktop to new AD and move mailboxes?
#2 make Exchange 2003 PST and setup a brand new AD and Exchange 2013. Give them PST as a local data file on their outlook along with their primary mailbox to avoid and X.400 email alias issues
I want avoid 2003 to 2010 and then 2010 to 2013 -- it will panic the end users and double the time and effort.
Thanks
