I need a good plan. All the servers are Win 2012. Now I have:
1) DC1 (AD DC)
2) DC2 (AD DC, AD CS)
3) MBXCAS (Exchange 2013 CU2, MBX+CAS)
4) MAIL (Exchange 2013 CU2, CAS)
And in the future I want to have:
1) DC1 (AD DC)
2) DC2 (AD DC, AD CS)
3) MBX1 (Exchange 2013 SP1, MBX)
4) MBX2 (Exchange 2013 SP1, MBX)
5) MAIL (Exchange 2013 SP1, CAS)
MBXCAS is in quite a bad state, I'm not sure it survives the upgrade to Exchange 2013 SP1. I decided to:
1) Install MBX1
2) Install MBX2
3) Make DAG
4) Move mailboxes from old database to new one in DAG
5) Upgrade MAIL from CU2 to SP1
6) Uninstall Exchange from MBXCAS and remove it from domain.
Is that right way? Or any better scenarios?
Additionaly there is a question: when should I install WMI/PowerShell 4.0 to DC1/DC2/MBX1/MBX2? I see that the PS4 is required for Exch2013 SP1 and I would like it to be in DC-s also.
