Please help with our migration from Exchange 2010 to 2013. I can’t seem to find appropriate instructions in TechNet.
We have a large number of offline address books. Their generation and distribution needs to be moved to an Exchange 2013 mailbox server.
This command, suggested by TechNet:
Get-Mailbox -Arbitration | where {$_.PersistedCapabilities -like "*oab*"}
Indicates that the relevant System Mailbox already resides on an Exchange 2013 server. So clearly, moving that mailbox is not all that is needed.
Examining the files and locations where oab’s are stored on the old and new servers shows only one oab exists on the new 2013 mailbox server which hosts that System Mailbox, and all the rest of the oab’s are still being generated/updated each morning on the 2010 mailbox server, and copied to the 2010 CAS server, and they are not being copied to the 2013 CAS servers or the 2013 mailbox servers.
What do we need to do so we can move forward with decommissioning the exchange 2010 systems?
Thanks
Bill
